The form is simple: a slender neck transitions gracefully to a bulbous body. It seems like it should be simple to make, but the challenge is really in knowing the glass. Too cold, and the piece is little more than a hard blob on the end of the blowpipe. Too hot, and you are standing ten feet up on a ladder starting down at a puddle of molten glass on the floor.

These pieces come in (relatively) standard heights. They can also be made to custom order and produced as a group of elements to occupy larger space.
